GDP reached US$2.4 billion in 2025, with real growth of 5.8% and a 7.1% rise in US$ terms, though the country slipped 1 place and now sits between Guinea-Bissau and Antigua and Barbuda.

Services account for 67.9% of output, industry 14.3% and agriculture 2.6%, with manufacturing at 5.4%. Inflation was 0.3%, unemployment 2.6% and government gross debt 51.2% of GDP. Seychelles ranked 171st in 2000, when GDP was US$654 million, and output has grown 3.6 times in US$ terms since. It is the 45th-largest of 47 economies in Sub-Saharan Africa and about the size of the Eagle Pass, TX metro area's 2024 GDP. The IMF projects GDP of US$2.9 billion by 2030, up 20%, which would lift it to 169th.
